Today, we all go back to commemorate a historic day which is "Youth Pledge Day." This shows that as a great nation always appreciates and upholds the service and sacrifice of the fighters in achieving and upholding the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
I as a citizen of Indonesia has set the theme of the anniversary of "Oath youth" to-82 this year is "Enhancing solidarity, integrity, and professionalism of youth towards a prosperous and dignified nation.
The theme thus implies that we as the younger generation of Indonesia which has the spirit of solidarity is a young man and grow a social empathy to feel the suffering of others and have the ability to share.
For that I am thankful, let us say a prayer of the presence of God, the Almighty God, for us all, especially the younger generation were born and inner strength in the continuing struggle to build the nation to realize the life of a better future.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Every-day we commemorate that historic day, we need to remember a moment, how great the struggle of its predecessor, the combatant nations in upholding the independence that has been achieved during that struggle, conducted in an integrated compact between the people with all the forces that there. Their struggle is not about time, their struggle can not be assessed, because regardless of wealth or family. They just want to reach a goal of independence.
Youth Pledge Year 1928 is a decision born of many discussions and long talks of Indonesian youth at the time, which is the forerunner of the Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, we as future leaders and perpetrators of the future must be able to understand and appreciate the depth of the meaning of the oath youth.
Youth must be the spearhead and pioneer journey of this nation, and must be capable of also undertaking reforms. We do not get stuck in phase opposition and the discussion that actually do not need that just a waste of energy and power alone.
Therefore, in this commemorates Youth Pledge day let us increase the spirit of national unity, moral people, are also required to improve discipline, independent and professional with a mastery of science and technology and skills.
Commemoration day of oath-82 youth to this, also implies a very deep and strategic in our nation and state efforts to improve the quality and identifies itself as a great nation, quality, authoritative, and dignity.
Participants of the ceremony and Gentlemen, Youth Indonesian nation as heir to the noble culture of the nation, the successor to the noble ideals of the struggle of the nation's cultural and human resources to national development, it should improve itself and set a determination, and to optimize its role in eliciting the unity and integrity, improve the quality of resources human / Youth of Indonesia as a real effort to achieve sustainable national development.
When we turn round one of the major joints of our nasioanal development is national unity. In the unity and integrity of the nation with all the implied Bhinneka his strength to face the challenges that spur our nation to side by side with other nations. With a spirit of unity and this unity is also developing integrity and unity of the Indonesian Nation.
In line with this, I was invited by the momentum of this young man oath warning we make as a driver of our spirit together to continuously improve the unity and integrity of the nation to increase the participation and support for pro-development interests of youth as the future generation.
Attention and care attitude towards the growth of youth should be increased for generations of our nation stronger, not a generation that is weak, both physically and mentally.
With the participation of all parties and supported by the view - a visionary outlook on youth and kedewesaannya in thinking that more priority to the interests of society, nation and state.
